Dykelands Hike

Enjoy Grand-Pré’s landscape, a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Walk from the observation post to the Deportation Cross and pass by the National Historic Site.

Forget about your car for a few hours to go back several centuries in time. Step back in time by passing through these lands which would probably still be underwater had it not been for the know-how of the Acadians. Let yourself be guided to Horton Landing where you can commemorate the three cultures that defined this geographical area. With a bit of luck, you might get a glimpse of an eagle in the area.
